TREKKING IN NEPAL

ITINERARY E05 – EVEREST BC CHOLA PASSThis route is so exciting to trek. When you get in the plane there are such fabulous views of mountains and green hills. You can see many mountains from your flight. This route is very famous all over the world because of Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world. Namche is such a great place to see everything, a kind of centre point for everything. From there you have a wonderful view of Mount Everest. You will also see many Tibetans, because you are not very far from the Tibetan border and many Tibetans come to trade. The local people here are all Sherpa. There are so many great sights all over this trek: Tenboche where there is a very big monastery, fabulous views of the valleys and of Mount Everest and of many more mountains. At Laboche there is a large glacier, the Khumbu glacier, which goes all the way up to base camp. The Kala Pathar (which means "black rock" in Nepali) is the nearest point from which to see Mount Everest. Chola Pass is a very isolated place, a really peaceful place and exciting to view. Gokyo is the most beautiful place in the whole Everest region, because here there are five lakes. The best mountain view of all is to be seen from Gokyo Peak (5456m., 17,901ft.), from whose summit you can see almost all the mountains of the Khumbu region. We really promise that if you go there you won't be sorry.
